We're Swabie and Radeen, the founders of Beyond the Wild. We created the company to make experiencing Uganda feel more personal, more organised and a lot less complicated.
Travelling in Uganda should feel exciting, not complicated. Most travellers end up choosing between planning everything themselves, chasing lodges, permits, drivers and park fees across a dozen inboxes, or accepting a rigid packaged tour built for someone else. We think there's a better place to sit between the two.
So we built Beyond the Wild as a travel partner rather than a tour company. You keep the freedom to choose what you want to see and how you want to travel. We take responsibility for the planning, the coordination and the hundred details behind the journey.

We'd rather say things plainly than pretend otherwise. We're founder-led: when you enquire, you're talking to the people who actually design and run the trips. We choose our supplier network and our journeys deliberately rather than quickly, because the alternative is promising things we can't deliver.
What that means for you is direct access, honest answers about what's possible on your dates and budget, and someone accountable from your first message to your departure transfer.
We are a fully registered Ugandan company: incorporated with URSB, a registered taxpayer with URA, licensed by the Uganda Tourism Board, and holding a KCCA trading licence.
