Through this website, we only collect information you choose to give us:
We do not collect passport numbers, dates of birth, nationality documents or payment card details through this website. Where that information is genuinely needed to arrange permits or bookings, we collect it separately, securely, and only at the point it is actually required.
To respond to your enquiry, design and price your trip, arrange bookings with accommodation, guides and activity providers, keep in touch about your journey, and, if you have subscribed, send occasional travel inspiration.
We do not sell your information. Information you give us directly (your name, your enquiry, your trip details) is shared only with the suppliers directly involved in delivering your trip, and only what they need.
Separately, if you accept our cookie banner, Google and Meta receive standard analytics and advertising data about your visit, not the contents of anything you type into a form. That is governed by, and fully described in, our cookie policy.
Enquiries submitted through this site currently reach us by WhatsApp or email. When our customer system is live, enquiries will instead be stored in our own secured system, and we will update this policy to say so.
This website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, may be processed by our host as part of serving the site securely.
If you accept our cookie banner, Google Analytics and Meta's advertising pixel also receive data about your visit. See our cookie policy for exactly what that involves and how to decline it.
Service messages about a trip you have enquired about or booked are separate from marketing. We only send marketing where you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time without affecting your trip.
Enquiry and trip information is kept for as long as needed to plan and deliver your trip, and afterwards for our business and legal records. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Under Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act 2019 you have the right to be informed about how your data is used, to access what we hold, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete information we are not required to keep, and to object to direct marketing. Email us and we will act on it.
We will update this page whenever what we do with personal information changes, particularly as our booking system, payment processing and traveller portal come online.
